Testimonials

Daniela Englisch, Director of the Interational Office at Ulm University & Project Head

She represents the DAAD-funded GUC project coordinated in Ulm together with the Universities of Stuttgart and Tübingen.

The GUC is a truely strategic partner for Ulm University. We appreciate this cooperation as an important intercultural bridge between Germany and the Arab world. Last but not least, the GUC project stands for a twenty-year old friendship we enjoy with our Egyptian colleagues.

Prof. Dr. Frank Gunzer, Vice President for International Affairs at the GUC & Member of the GUC Project Steering Committee

He is a faculty member at the GUC and the coordinator in the project team on the Egyptian side.

The relationship with our German partners and the opportunities the DAAD funding provides is extremely valuable. Students and researchers from the GUC get a chance to deepen their ties to Germany and build their international careers as scholars or outside of academia in Egypt or Germany.
