Media Engineering and Technology (MET)

Media Engineering and Technology is an area within the field of Information Technology that is becoming increasingly important, which can be easily explained by the huge international demand for specialists in this field. Storing, processing, handling of information, corresponding media for design as well as retrieval and transmission of information are fundamental aspects of this study program.

If you choose to study MET at the GUC, this is what will await you:

  • You will be able to foster your knowledge on the core concepts surrounding computer science, as well as acquire profound skills in the field of digital signal processing.
  • You will develop professional skills in computer software development and the use of media technology equipment and you will be able to critically evaluate the fundamental technologies that underpin multimedia information systems.
  • You will gain expert level in the field of planning, designing, organizing, implementing and evaluating multimedia information systems with the help of multimedia authoring tools.

The Faculty of Media Engineering and Technology is offering an international bachelor program that takes 8 semesters. The international Bachelor Program enables the students to enter an international Master Program that takes another three semesters.
